These values have been instilled in me since I was a child. First, from my Mom and Dad who taught me that I must take responsibility for my actions and adversity is just an opportunity to be better at what I do. Later in life through my faith in Jesus Christ, I learned I am on this earth for a reason, with a plan and purpose.

I have been blessed to have worked with and for some of the best and brightest when it came to demonstrating the principles of hard work, honesty and ethics. I owe a tremendous debt of Gratitude to Don Dunn of HP White Laboratories. Don's son Eric and I have been friends for more than 34 years. Don was my little league coach and sometimes surrogate father. At an important time in my life he gave me a job at HP White. It was during my ten years at HP White that the foundation for my career was laid. Mr. Dunn's management style, leadership, guidance and generosity have helped to cultivate my principles in business.

When I left HP WHITE in 1989 I had the great fortune of working with some of the great minds and leaders in business. Bob Coppage, Lt Col. Oliver North, Neil Perkins, Scott Obrien and Dr. Dave Marshall have taught me it is possible to run a successful company, to be honest in your efforts and give back to the community.

I hold these values important in the administration of USBE. I thank them for setting the example for me. I thank you for taking the time to get to know a little more about USBE.
